- 1 & 2. Strathglass : the two yellow patches indicated by red squares north-west of Loch Ness. Places of interest : Erchless castle and estate (& burial mound), Comar House, Glen Affric (& Affric Lodge), Loch Mullardoch & Mullardoch House, Beauly Priory, Urquhart Castle (on Loch Ness). The Clan Chisholm Society has affixed plaques at Loch Mullardoch (cairn overlooking the the dam), above Cannich (Glen Cannich road) and at Gleann nam Fiadh bridge (overlooking Loch Benavean).
- 3. Chisholme House : red spot west of Hawick (ancient possession of the Border Chisholmes, now property of the "Beshara School of intensive esoteric education") - how to get there
- 4. Perthshire : red spot north of Dunblane. Places of interest : Cromlix (where the Drummonds later built Cromlix House), Dunblane cathedral (15th c. Chisholm stalls). The Chisholm bishops later moved to France.
